Pima County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a body found in a desert area near the Arizona National Scenic Trail on Saturday, Sept. 23.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a body near the trail at about 5:30 p.m., according to a news release from PCSD. The investigation was turned over to PCSD detectives and remains ongoing.
