On August 24, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers confiscated a 50-caliber rifle.
The incident occurred at the Nogales Port of Entry before entering Mexico.
CBP Port Director Michael W. Humphries says “this high-power rifle was probably going to support cartel operations.”
