A man accidentally shot himself in the leg in Sierra Vista on Thursday, July 20.
He was clearing and securing his weapon at the skate park within Veterans Memorial Park, 3105 E. Fry Blvd, on Thursday evening, when it went off, according to Sierra Vista Police Department.
The bullet struck the man in the leg. He was transported to the hospital by Sierra Vista Fire.
