A man was shot and killed Friday just south of the Lost Barrio shopping district in midtown.
Tucson Police responded to calls of a shooting in the 500 block of South Park Avenue just after noon. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male. They attempted to render aid, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release from TPD.
One person is detained in connection with the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
