U.S. lawmakers introduced the Dignity Act of 2023 in Congress on Tuesday, a bill that would revamp the country’s outdated immigration system.
The bill would increase border security funding, expand legal migration channels and provide a legal pathway for some immigrants living in the country without documentation.
At 500 pages, the Dignity Act is the most detailed attempt at reforming federal immigration laws in decades.
