The Pima Air & Space Museum, 6000 E. Valencia Rd., and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) are congratulating 99 people on their recent American citizenship.

During a special ceremony Thursday, officials welcomed the citizens in honor of Veterans Day weekend.

“We created the space to be much more intimate, much more functional, accessible even to the point of including some specific drinks,” Executive Director Trent Valladares.

The ceremony included the administration of the Oath of Allegiance. Pima Air & Space Museum Executive Director Scott Marchand gave his congratulatory remarks to the new citizens as well.

“Some old…old favorites, like our Dillinger sidecar, which goes all the way back in the history of the hotel,” Valladares added. “Somethings, you’ll only find here at the lounge.”

USCIS staff who are U.S. military veterans were also at the Veterans Day ceremony in supporting roles.
