The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office issued evacuation orders in Whetstone after a structure fire turned into a wildfire.
In a Facebook post, CCSO said people in the areas of Bowers Road to Calle En Cielo and Sanders to Fordney should evacuate now.
The department says a structure is on fire near Sanders and Bowers Road and several homes in the area are evacuating.
CCSO is asking people to avoid the area and said the road will be closed to all traffic.
